Accessibility Statement For EECORP

Measures to support accessibility​

Edwards Environmental Corporation takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of EECORP:

  • Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.

  • Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.

  • Appoint an accessibility officer and/or ombudsperson.

  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.

  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.

  • Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.

  • Periodically include people with disabilities in our design personas.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. EECORP is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Fully conformant means that the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions.

  • When developing our accessibility tools, we test our products using the following screen readers: 

    • Windows + Firefox or Chrome: NVDA (Free reader)

    • iOS + Safari: Voiceover (Built-in reader)

  • Adjustments made to the heading structure of your site pages:

    • DOM order based on the visual order of the elements; from left to right, and top to bottom.

  • When developing our accessibility tools, we test our products using the following screen readers:

    • Windows + Firefox or Chrome: NVDA (Free reader)

    • iOS + Safari: Voiceover (Built-in reader)


Media, files, and animation:

  • ALL site images have alternative text.

  • ALL site color combinations used on our site have the required contrast ratio.

  • Most ALL disturbing motion has been either eliminated and/or reduced on the site.

  • Accessibility adjustments have been made to ALL videos and audio on the site in according to YouTube standards.

  • ALL Case Studies and/or Testimonial documents are accessible for direct viewing and/or downloading via a built-in web-based PDF Reader.

Edwards Environmental Corporation assessed the accessibility of EECORP by the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation

  • External evaluation

  • Independent Environmental Services Specialist & Technical Advisor: performed thorough formal quality assurance shadowing throughout the entire design and development process.

Formal complaints
